Deep Dive - where you can learn more about Teresa Lo Vica.

The Teresa Lo Vico was a bark that was sunk by the volcanic eruption of Mount Pele on the morning of May 8, 1902. At the time of the eruption the vessel was a carrying a cargo of building supplies that included rope, tile and cement in wooden barrels. When diving on the large, farily intact wreck, one can observe tiles stacked on the deck and the now hardened cement in the shape of wooden barrels. The Teresa Lo Vico rests on a sloping bottom between the depths of 30 to 40 m.
